If you're looking for a race to run this April, there are several going on this weekend, in different parts of Maryland, Delaware and Virginia. Some of them I've already written about.

If I've already written about the run, just follow the links to event information within the posts to get any updates on pricing. I'll write more in future blog posts about races happening later in April.

Saturday, April 5

Dorchester County YMCA Crab Run: half marathon and 5K (I've already written about that here.)

Wildcat Spirit 5K & Fun Run/Walk (I've already written about that here.)

Kim Miller 5K & Boobs & Brews Charity Event: The Kim Miller 5K & Boobs & Brews Charity Event will raise money for the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition on April 5, according to the Seashore Striders event page. Parking will be at 16 Mile Brewery, 413 S. Bedford St., Georgetown, and the runners will be brought to the start for the point-to-point 5K. The race begins at 9 a.m., so get there early to ensure you'll be shuttled over. Online registration is available here for $25 for the 5K run and walk or $20 for a one-mile walk. Race-day registration will be $30, according to the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition website. (Again, arrive early to ensure you'll be able to be shuttled over.)  Plenty of other activities will follow at 16 Mile as part of the Boobs & Brews event, which begins at 11 a.m. Learn more here.

Sunday, April 6

Run for the Animals: half marathon (I've written about that here.)

Oy Vey 5K Run and Walk: Register by Thursday, April 3, to get the discounted rate on Sunday's Oy Vey 5K Run and Walk, according to the Seashore Striders event page. The race, a fundraiser for educational programs at the Seaside Jewish Community, will kick off from the organization at 18970 Holland Glade Road in Rehoboth Beach, according to the event page. The race begins at 8 a.m. April 6 and is $20 to enter by Thursday, or $25 on race day starting at 7 a.m. It's probably too late for mail-in registration, but online registration is available here. Need more info? Check out the event page here.
